Who are we?

Dugard Heating and Plumbing is a family run business that is based in Thanet and working and serving both the Thanet area and also Dover, Deal and Folkestone.

Alex Dugard our main engineer started his apprenticeship back in 2008 working for his fathers family run business. Following his apprenticeship he continued to work for his Father’s business up until 2019 when he decided the time was right to set up his own Business. With 12 years experience in the industry and having benefited and learned from his Fathers vast experience in the industry of over 30 years Alex feels he is able to offer Top quality workmanship coupled together with a high level of customer service at a competitive rate.

Alex says ‘My aim when starting the business was to ensure all my customers are totally satisfied at the end of each job and are always happy to have me back or recommend my work’. This is this foundation of our business and something we will continue to ensure we achieve. Having become a Limited Company in 2020, Emma Dugard (Alex’s Wife) has joined the business as a director and will handle the Admin side of the Business while Alex along with a small selection of fellow plumbers continues to work day to day to fix leaks and broken Boilers.

What services do we offer?

At Dugard Heating and Plumbing we handle everything from small jobs like outside tap installations to larger jobs like complete central heating system installations. Not only do we Install, we also offer Boiler Services and we are highly experienced and skilled in all types of Repairs and Maintenance work for Domestic Plumbing and Heating Systems.

We install a wide range of products from many different Manufacturers so we can always find the right for product for you.

Are you a Landlord?

We have worked alongside Landlords and managing agents for many years. Due to this we are experienced in dealing with tenants and ensuring issues are resolved promptly and cost effectively keeping both tenant and landlord happy. We offer Landlords Gas Safety Certificates which are a legal obligation for Landlords and ensure the safety of all gas appliances and installations that are used by Tenants.
